| OK, maybe these guys weren`t our favorite teachers, but they were the head honchos of our beloved NHHS just the same. I happened to notice a few resemblances our leaders had to certain other historic figures. What do you think? (All in good fun and disrespect to authority) |

| Again, not necessarily favorite teachers, but this cast of characters did try to help us find direction in life. Counselors: Mike DiDonato, Tom Hays, Siggy Freud, Barb Jesse, Mary Lou Stall, and Bill Straw (who is still married to kinderten teacher Vi Straw) |
| And this group was our Student Guidance staff: Janette Johnson, Maury Lowe, Joe McCoy, and Bill Graham |
| Patsy Baker - a beloved, nurturing, English-teaching favorite! |
| Dudley Smith was another recognized favorite. Besides teaching Science, he enjoyed playing sports, watching his sons play sports, and reading. He most admired his wife. If he didn`t have to teach Chemistry Dudley claims he would have spent his time reading every book in the library. |
| Scott Dukes still teaches physics and chemistry at NHHS! He also hosted the wild Math & Science Club. Mr. Dukes stated he would have chosen Dentistry had he not become a teacher. Mr. Dukes has a wonderful wife, who is also a NHHS teacher. They have three grown children. |

| John "Old Abe" Ecternach taught Algebra and Bio-Med |
| Judy Fogt enthusiastically taught Girls PE and was another favorite. |
| Gail Hurwitz taught Algebra and Geometry, but had a caring personality absent in most math teachers. Mrs Hurwitz was another favorite. |
| English teacher Mary Lyons happened to be the mother of one of our classmates. She was rated another favorite of our class. Mrs. Lyons also enjoyed music, travel, and reading. In the yearbook her desire was to go digging with the Leaky family in Kenya |
| Al Morgan was another English teacher and favorite among our class. Some teachers simply have that wonderful ability to connect with kids. |
| Joe Newkirk taught Criminal Justice. He was another favorite and also the father of one of our classmates. |
| Betty Orbach, yet another English teacher and favorite, also enjoyed swimming, hiking, reading, and watching plays. Her dream was to seek a life in foreign service. |
| Coach Robert Donald taught US History and coached the long distance runners. |
| Joe Robinson, lover of History, still teaches at NHHS, and so does his son! Mr. Robinson taught us Spanish and Anthropology. Joe also hosted the Latin Club and was loved by all who knew him. I assume this is still the case! |
| Mori Adams taught Physiology |
| Judy Altshuler taught English and also enjoyed skiing and volleyball |
| Hurt Armstrong is listed as teaching the "Why Police". Who was he? What was that? And where was I? |
